Lessons Learned: Diaper Genie

When the Diaper Genie instructions state: “Stop pushing diapers through when you feel resistence,” pay attention! Pushing too many diapers through will break the bag inside, causing foul diaper smell to escape with the foul diapers when you try to empty the container.

Glad to see new addition of the baby and more girls in your life has not reduced your “MAN STATE”……aka not reading directions and ignoring warnings (every man/engineer knows there is always a % of safety included manufacturers over account for)…. Then again when dealing with the bio-hazard material well I think you learned your lesson :)

LOL! We learned that the hard way too! NO amount of Lysol will get that smell out either!

We didn’t have those “hi-tech” things when Angela was a baby……so just be glad you have it. You could be washing a zillion diapers per day.
Oh, by the way, babies don’t come with directions either. You just have to learn on the fly, and each one is different. Good Luck :-)

But Jessica bought me the owner’s manual for father’s day! (It looks really cute with lots of information… formatted to look like a car manual)

Yeah, I have read that one. After a week at home, I am convinced that books like those might as well been written in Japanese for all the good that they did me :)

Manuals are great to have to do research with, but finally just basic instinct kicks in and you go on from there. Each day will bring new challenges and the key is to go with the flow and be adaptable. What works one time does not always work the next time. Lots of love is the key!
