She definitely was smiling!!!!! Hang in there, the first few weeks are really tough. Babies have their own agenda, oops-- I mean schedule, and unfortunately it usually doesn't match mom and dad's. She'll settle down and get into a routine--just remember that this world is brand new to her, not like her nice snug womb, and she's got to get adjusted to it. The key to surviving these first few months--any time she naps, you nap, no matter what time of the day it is. You may not get long periods of sleep, but any sleep is better than no sleep at all!! It will get better!! Right now you may not think it ever will, but I promise it will!!! Can't wait to meet my great niece! Love to all of you! Precious, just precious! She definitely was smiling!!!!!
