Precious, just precious! She definitely was smiling!!!!!
Hang in there, the first few weeks are really tough. Babies have their own agenda, oops-- I mean schedule, and unfortunately it usually doesn't match mom and dad's. She'll settle down and get into a routine--just remember that this world is brand new to her, not like her nice snug womb, and she's got to get adjusted to it. The key to surviving these first few months--any time she naps, you nap, no matter what time of the day it is. You may not get long periods of sleep, but any sleep is better than no sleep at all!! It will get better!! Right now you may not think it ever will, but I promise it will!!!
Can't wait to meet my great niece! Love to all of you!

Thanks for the pictures of her sweet, smiling face! And yes she is smiling at only two weeks! I know the nights can get long when nothing seems to settle babies down but how did she go for an eight hour stretch? Reminds me a lot of you as an infant but we never got long stretches whether it was day or night.:-)
Thanks for the directions. See you tomorrow afternoon. Love, CeCe

Aww, isn't she a cutie :-). And that looked like a smile to me and at only 2 weeks! I'm sure the directions were for me, the uninformed aunt. Thanks, Jon. Hope you all get some sleep some. Love to all.
