We should have named her Mary

Last week, I mentioned that Emily started her first week at daycare. Although I did not yet know it, she came home at the end of that first week with her first cold. It is now half-way through her second week of day care and I have come down with a cold. Now, I knew that having a kid would mean that you get sick more often. I just did not realize that it would happen this quickly.

  1. Wait until you’ve got typhoid fever before you rename her. ;)

Yeah, when Jake caught strep throat from the Y, it really didn’t slow him down. I felt like I was catching it too and I didn’t want to get out of bed for like 3 days! Its amazing how resilient children are, the cold will totally be worse for you than her! :) Give her lots of Sugars!!

She’s just taking after her mother is all. My family has called me Typhoid Mary for several years now. Good to know the tradition will continue, now the pressure is off of me ;)

Babies can be quite resilient! You guys will suffer from a cold in far worse ways than she. Took me a moment to figure out what the title meant, actually didn’t figure it out until I read Geoff’s comment.:-) You poor old CeCe is a little slow on the uptake these days. Kiss my lovely grandbaby for me.
