Emily likes to play and is very aware of her surroundings. She does not go to sleep because she is afraid that she will miss something. If Phoebe does the same, she will likely follow in Emily's footsteps. The nap resistance hasn't been much of a problem until recently though. In the beginning, Emily would take a nap after coming home from daycare, eat, play, take a bath, and then go to sleep by ~8 or 9. Maybe Phoebe will find a similar routine. Emily's resistance got stronger once she was able to sit up on her own. I guess she discovered what she was missing by always lying down. Don't worry, things will all work out in the end.
