Better Late Than Never

Hello Everyone!

Yes, we are still alive and kicking for those of you who have been wondering. Nothing too exciting has been going on here. Jon recently went out of town on business and Emily came down with a mysterious “fever virus”. She also grew a couple more teeth. I ended up missing two days of work because Emily was sick. She’s been quite pitiful moping around the house and generally being miserable. I know she wasn’t feeling well because she actually sat in my lap and watched television with me. She went to the doctor twice within the span of a couple of days, but they never found anything wrong with her. The doctor even ordered a urine analysis and culture just to make sure. Emily was less than thrilled about that one. Luckily that came up fine as well. She is finally starting to perk up though after a weekend of much needed sleep. I’m not sure she was up for more than two hours in a row on Sunday. She returned to daycare yesterday and did fine. They are transitioning her to the young toddler room this week. On Aug. 11 she will make the move up to her new room.

I think that is all the update I really have for now. Nothing interesting is going on with me or Jon outside of raising Emily. We’re just your normal working parents, work, eat, sleep, play with Emily, repeat.

Oh, I almost forgot…

Here’s a little something for your Emily fix :)

Yay for Ashley! You posted some pics! Cute, of course. I really like the “Hear No Evil” ones.

I love the new pics of Emily! My favorite one is where she has one hand nonchalantly poised behind her head and the other one is waving “hi”. I also like the one where she is looking out the door at Rosie because it show off her red, curly hair! The “Hear No Evil” shots are cute as well. Kiss my granddaughter for me. Love, Charlotte

Finally some pictures!!!! Yahoo!!! Seriously, little Emily is growing up so fast! It’s hard to believe she is old enough to be walking, eating “real” food, and has all those teeth!! Seems like she was just born a couple of months ago. Keep those pictures coming. Give little Em a hug and kiss from me!
